I feel like last year they were at that point in their relationships were they're close, but they haven't both acknowledged that to each other before so it's still kinda awkward. Something like, "I think we're close but do they feel the same? I'm not sure how close they think we are". And as Kanae said that level of relationship were you get along really well but there's still a little holding back of your full self. And now there's not.
