Fear the Walking Dead - Season 8 - Official Intro (Episode 8.12)

Fear the Walking Dead has now ended with its series finale, 8.12 - ‘The Road Ahead’, and with it comes this final official intro!

With this being the end, they have decided to pull out all the stops for this last intro by incorporating a total of 24 characters from throughout the course of the entire series!

Below is a list of all of the characters featured, starting with those who are centred in the foreground, and then those towards the background of the opening from left to right.
At the front of these characters in this final intro are none other than the Clark family themselves, who we’ve followed on their eight season journey until this point, consisting of Madison Clark (Kim Dickens), Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and Nick Clark (Frank Dillane), taking centre stage where they belong!

To the left hand side of the three Clarks, going from left to right we have:

- Victor Strand (Colman Domingo)
- June Dorie (Jenna Elfman)
- Dwight (Austin Amelio)
- Charlie (Alexa Nisenson)

- Althea Szewczyk-Przygocki (Maggie Grace)

On the right hand side, again going from left to right:

- John Dorie Jr. (Garret Dillahunt)
- Wendell (Daryl Mitchell)
- Sarah Rabinowitz (Mo Collins)

With this intro, the text for the credits has reverted back to its usual look, with it being a combination of both regular & bold text.

As well as this, the gradual fade-in effect that spreads across the FTWD logo has been removed once again after the same was done for 8.10's intro, once again leaving a fully formed logo in its place.

The main theme has again been reused from 7.12 - ‘Sonny Boy’, but with some additional changes, with the theme now sounding more deep and almost grand, which I feel sounds very fitting for the series finale.

I think we can all agree that Fear has had its fair share of ups and downs throughout its run, but if there’s one thing I can say that I’ve enjoyed, it’s been uploading these official intros each week for you all, which I hope you all have also enjoyed too!

The end is the beginning. And the intro symbolises the whole journey from start to finish. The references to Nick, Travis, Ofelia, John, even a subtle nod to Althea and so many more were amazing. But what’s most important about this finale is we finally get the reunion that we were all waiting for. In the words of Morgan, everything gets a return. While the show had ups and downs, this series means a lot to many people, including those of the main show. Now here’s hoping we see Dwight & Sherry in Dead City or Alicia & Madison in The Ones Who Live, and Victor, Daniel, Luciana and June too. Goodbye Fear the Walking Dead. Love your intros and your stories.

I think now that may be Dove/Odessa on the left and Ofelia is on the right and not Rachel, Ofelia had a similar hairstyle in season 1.

Who's the woman between John Sr. and Daniel? This seems to be only main characters so maybe Liza or Lola or Ofelia? Doesn't look like Dakota or Virginia. I was thinking Janis or Rachel but they weren't really in that many episodes

I’m OK with it but I highly disagree with Madison decision. I think it would’ve been better to send him in the direction of Morgan. He would’ve helped Troy a lot. But nothing you can do about it now. He’s here now and not dead. That means something. Use it. don’t forget what you said at the stadium. Troy has a reason to be better than he was before. The world dying doesn’t mean we get to become savages. That’s how we got the great flood.
