I love the quiet neighborhood stations on the end of the brown line. The rails switch to ground level crossings reducing a lot of noise compared the the elevated parts.

youre wrong about the bus stops imo.
having them every block lowers the average walk distance to a bus stop. if you rely on the bus, its almost given you should leave early. its not gonna be the fastest but its better than walking, which is the point.
