This place is so depressing now 80% of shops vacant place used to be thriving, had a cinema and everything now its a bucket museum with leaky

Grew up in Boothstown and visited Walkden ofted. It used to be bustling and full of shops. Then it got "developed" and they put the rent up and nobody could afford it. Such ashame.

Well done guys, The last time I was in this shopping centre was in 2015, It was empty then, Salford Council mis- management again, It is so sad.

i remember the original part being built in 1963 and it being covered over in the late 80's , since Tesco expanded in the 2000's the place was ruined

This reminds me of when I was in Charleston South Carolina the infrastructure is not a comparison.
