Slime is best at 1 because you have 3 splits and 3 impacts to search split to pull slime out of nowhere, then use it from the grave later on if needed. You never want to draw the 1st one, a 2nd is just unnecessary.

Zefraniu makes a great wall and an easy way to access your higher level synchros, with the added benefit of allowing you to search path/creation if its destroyed so you should consider running 1 of him.

dark hole is unnecessary because you don't plus off of it as hard as you could considering how you have synchro monsters to beat down with after a few turns of building up, and it sucks when you have a full board of offense and dead draw a dark hole, because that won't help you set up if the opponent comes back and you don't always plus off of losing your monsters. what if round 1 at regionals you go against blackwings? you run into Black Sonic and not only did you just lose round 1, you just lost to blackwings. eww.

I run more traps in my build to keep my opponent staggering for those first few turns, which I don't see in mosty builds but think is necessary nonetheless. Think about it - When does Vanity's hurt you? unless your about to synchro that turn most of your S. Summoning comes after your guys are destroyed, popping your own vanity's. If you argue that it wouldn't last long anyways, that still makes them stumble for a turn. 1 turn is everything. also, if they somehow get past your field (i.e. you set a graydle eagle and they raigeki you and go for the otk game 2 while you don't have Creation) you may think back and say "you know what, I wish I had a solemn warning or a bottomless back when they pendulum summoned 5 and ftk'd you. also, Skill drain barely hurts your main synchro plays considering the fact that bixi exists and you run 3 of him.

You can side better cards like Anti-Spell Fragrance and Light/Shadow Imprisoning Mirror in this deck, so why don't you?

I like Pot of Duality in the deck because except that one turn when you go off and make 2-4 synchros you aren't really going to S. Summon during your turn. We can synch during the opponent's turn, spam if our YZ's are destroyed, and steal the opponent's beatsticks with Graydles - you probably won't ever dead draw the things and if you do just treat it like everything else in the deck and sit on it for 2 turns.
