Of course it was rigged 100%. People predicted it. Watched carefully and could easily confirm by watching it. The refusal of yellow or red card towards Argentina for clear fouls, also weak calls for penalty kicks in favor for Arg. More penalties were given to Arg. than any other club in history of a tournament. Thus Pen-essi makes sense.

The tournament wasn't rigged, not in any way. 🙄😂
All three pens in the WC final were totally fair and the ref generally had a great game.
The pens against Netherlands and Croatia were also totally right (what's a ref supposed to do: not give a totally nailed on pen just because a team has already had a few? 😂 That's not how the game works).
Can't remember one of the pens but I will say the one against Poland was soft. But there's a big difference between a soft pen and outright rigged one. 😂 We cant judge the later pens just by that one being dubious.
Ref between Argies and Netherlands wasn't great. This is true and probs why all the players were able to kick off at each other. Messi definitely should have been booked for his blatant handball. Though if he is, he doesn't get booked for dissent later and the game may well be a lot calmer. Ref was too lenient in a few circumstances and that goes a long way in players pushing their boundaries.
I imagine refereeing is a lot like teaching. Give the players (or children) an inch and they take a mile!

Lots of Reasons it was not rigged :

1. Argentina Penalty vs Netherlands - The ball was placed in a position that was meeting the requirements, and for Molina there, half the Dutch team was also there on the other side
2. Messi's Handball - Not much explanation, it was on purpose, but its the halfway line and didn't interfere much with play, so therefore, no yellow
3. There were no unfair decisions for the Portugal vs Morocco game, they won fair and square
4. All penalties that were given were supposed to be penalties, the ball would have came to Paredes if not the foul against SA, Messi got punched in the face against Poland, lightly but enough for a pen, Acuna was fouled inside the box against Netherlands, Alvarez had a clear chance and would have gotten there if not for the foul, in the final, Dembele did have slight contact with Di Maria as he got the wrong side of him and made him trip, a penalty. A lot of people/Messi haters here are just saying that Messis wc was rigged, they just dont try to accept defeat. Did they go into close conspiracies with all the horrible decisions in the 2018 WC? no they didnt, when Messi lost? they didnt, but as soon as Messi finally won, they started looking for every single small detail to prove that the world cup was rigged. All respects to Messi and Ronaldo, love them both
