Ossian

Ossian is a literary figure associated with a collection of epic poems, often referred to as the "Ossianic poems" or "Ossianic cycle." These works are traditionally attributed to the ancient Gaelic bard Ossian, son of Fingal, and were supposedly translated and published by the Scottish poet James Macpherson in the 18th century.
