This all fell together yesterday morning. So, I typed the lyrics as they came to me and worked out a simple guitar accompaniment with a little harmonica for contrast. Now, a few minor revisions later, here is my ode de guitar, "The Guitar". I think that anyone who's played for more than a minute, and maybe some old soul beginners will appreciate the sentiment.
