Officials say the international community was warned that Israel would respond disproportionally if civilians were hurt in an Iran, Hezbollah strike.

In other words, a horrible price would be paid if civilians are harmed by either Iran or Hezbollah.

Headline 2 US warned Iran of 'devastating blow' if it strikes Israel

A US official said that a message was directly conveyed to Iran warning that its government and economy would suffer if it launched a massive attack on Israel.

The United States has warned Iran that its government and economy could suffer a "devastating blow" if it launches a massive attack on Israel, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday, citing a US official.

According to the report, the message was communicated directly to the Iranian government, as well as through intermediaries.

Hopefully, Iran will get the message that it is not in their best interest to attack.

Headline 3 US deploys F-22 stealth fighters to region

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced the deployment of F-22 stealth fighters to the Middle East "as part of U.S. force posture changes in the region to mitigate the possibility of regional escalation by Iran or its proxies."

More firepower at the ready.

Headline 4 Israeli officials pessimistic of cease-fire, 'Sinwar wants regional war'

Israeli officials on Thursday said they were not optimistic that a cease-fire and hostage release deal could be agreed despite efforts by the United States to secure one.

According to a report in the UAE "The National" on Thursday, Sinwar who has replaced Ismail Haniyeh as head of the Hamas politburo after his assassination last month, informed Egyptian mediators that he would not agree to a cease-fire without a complete withdrawal of Israeli troops from the Gaza Strip.

He also said he opposed any involvement of the Palestinian Authority, under President Mahmoud Abbas, in the administration of Gaza after the war and any presence of an international force to secure the Strip.

So as long as he is around there will be no ceasefire deal or hostage release.

Headline 5 Harris backs off statement of arms embargo to Israel,

Before a recent campaign stop in Michigan, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris met with two Arab Americans who lead the Uncommitted National Movement, a group that organized more than 100,000 voters to cast their ballots as “uncommitted” in response to President Biden's support for Israel.

During the conversation, the two leaders of the movement they allegedly asked Harris to meet and discuss an arms embargo on Israel, according to The New York Times.

While the group later claimed that Harris said she was open to such a meeting, Harris campaign spokesman said the vice president only “reaffirmed that her campaign will continue to engage with those communities.”

The Uncommitted organization made an additional statement.

“The Vice President shared her sympathies and expressed an openness to a meeting with the Uncommitted leaders to discuss an arms embargo.”

Harris’ campaign spokesman then released a statement appearing to contradict that claim.

“The vice president has been clear: she will always work to ensure Israel is able to defend itself against Iran and Iran-backed terrorist groups,” the statement continued. “The Vice President is focused on securing the ceasefire and hostage deal currently on the table.”

So, the Harris campaign can’t seem to get their stories straight. They already have a huge problem with their VP pick Tim Waltz who has lied repeatedly about his military service.
