How To Master Your Music in FL Studio 20 (Stock Plugins)

This is not a super quick video but I felt it was important to go into detail and explain why I show each step.

▶TIME STAMPS
1)2:25 - Have an aim
2)3:10 - Final check and adding fades
3)6:30 - Adjusting the tonal balance using EQ
4)13:45 - Getting the loudness right with limiting
5)21:20 - Final sweetening, stereo widening, saturation etc.

I think the loudness meter has had a nice upgrade but it should function roughly the same :)

Tip : if you hold shift while moving points in an automation, the height or y-value will not change.

I love how you take your time at the beginning to explain that this is just a beginner's tutorial and that professional mastering by experienced people really is something else. I mastered my own album recently and though it worked out fine, I realise my skills are nowhere near those of a professional. Mastering is a hard skill to master!
