It stays chilly through the weekend in New Orleans

We wake up this Friday morning to lingering clouds and a colder feel with temperatures in the 30s and 40s. Today will be a partly to mostly cloudy and chilly day. Temperatures will only rise to around 50 degrees this afternoon.

With clearer skies and less wind tonight, we'll turn cooler. Saturday and Sunday mornings will start with a light freeze north of the lake. Patchy frost will be possible south of the lake. Protect plants and pets before you go to sleep the next few nights.
