In the past, mapping with a drone took too much time to post-process and required powerful computers to produce maps. Now with Pix4D react, quick and reliable maps are able to be created on regular computers and with no internet connection.

How does Pix4dreact work?
First plan where you want to fly, you can use mission planning apps such as Pix4Dcapture. These planning apps will tell the drone where to fly, the elevation, and when to take photos all autonomously. After the drone has flown its mission. Retrieve the memory card from the drone, plug it into the computer, and have pix4dreact process the data on the computer.

Some common use cases include wildland fire and forestry protection, search & rescue, natural disaster response.

For wildland fire and forestry protection having the ability to preplan and map the area allows the firefighting crews to take inventory of burned structures, critical infrastructure visibility, and for firefighter escape routes.

For search and rescue quickly fly a grid mission and see the results. Scan images in detail to look for missing people.

Natural Disasters – quickly fly and make a map of the area. Identify which structures are still standing and be able to coordinate a response.
