So there is no action mode required for 4K 120fps, what a bummer, and only shoot with the 1 and 2x lens make no difference because we can always use an external tele or wide lens to reconstruct a new footage😊

It’s definitely a step into a further direction. It might not be perfect but it’s a start. That being said, I just got my 15 Pro Max in March so I’ll probably hold on until the next release.

Whats even better is you can shoot Pro Res LOG to an external device. Plug in a good usb c external drive like a samsung T7, and record to the drive.

Really annoying that you can't do 4k120 on the ultra wide. Would make for great establishing shots and movement shots.

It seems to me like an improved iPhone with features of the 15 pro. There is not much surprise.

It's not higher quality, the difference between the two modes is that one is converted to 30fps therefore eliminating the extra frames that are not needed after the conversion while the original keeps all the original 120fps. You can see that in the fps of the actual video (one is 30fps the other 120fps). So the quality of each individual frame is the same on both, but the unconverted version has more frames on it while the already converted version drops all the frames that are not being used.

Try and consider using the 15 Pro Max beastcage on the new 16 Pro Max, I’m sure it will fit like previously the 15 Pro Max fit with the 14 Pro Max cage
