First concert in 4 years! Everybody was excited to see them and the show sold out almost instantly. The 3 scheduled performances were in celebration of the release of their deluxe and expanded reissue of their debut album ‘Fever to Tell’ on vinyl on October 20th, complete with 9 previously unreleased demos and eight B-sides and rarities. One concert in LA at the Fonda Theater, one in Oakland and one in Brooklyn at the Kings Theatre. They also sold an autographed special poster to celebrate the trio of concerts. I bought mine beforehand so it wouldn’t be sold out by the end of the concert.

Before the show, they premiered their ~23min documentary ‘There Is No Modern Romance’, which captures what it was like behind the scenes during their first tour in the UK in 2003, including their near downfall and cancellation of their American tour, along with many funny scenes on their tour bus and in the studio, lol.
