Annual Fourth of July Parade to be held in Dale City

The streets of Dale City will be filled with Fourth of July parade participants and spectators next month.
Virginia’s largest parade is taking place at 10 a.m. on July 4, and the parade lineup is set for 9 a.m.
The Dale City Fourth of July Parade will run from Kirkdale Drive to Center Plaza, according to Parade Committee Chairman Ernestine Jenkins.
A Family Fun Day will start around Noon and end at 2 p.m. It will be held at Dale City Commuter Lot, which is located next to Center Plaza.
“We will have pony rides, we’ll have games for everybody, we’ll have plenty of food, informational booths — just a fun time for everybody,” Jenkins said.
