What did you love most about the series finale of 'Star Wars Rebels"?

Great review! It was an amazing finale to an overall incredible series. The epilogue was mind blowing. Also enjoyed the Ezra & Palpatine scenes. It was great to hear Ian McDiarmid again.

Dave Filoni should helm Lucasfilm imo. But then again, he’d have less time to create shows in that case. Either way, I thought Rebels was great, even if Clone Wars was a bit better.
I hope Filoni does a movie at some point. For now, it seems likely that they are setting up his new series which might take place between ROTJ and TFA. At least I hope.
I need Ahsoka and Luke to meet. I would squeal with joy if that happened.

Sorry I'm late, just finished watching Season 4. Rebels is my second favorite Star Wars content after the original series. The Ghost squad is a great addition to the Star Wars universe. Last 3 or 4 episodes of the show were stellar. Awesome review, Adam and Emma.

I think this is what George Lucas would have done with this series. Especially the pergil.

Love Ahsoka being alive past VI!! She could now commune with Anakin's Force Ghost! Who knows... She could even communicate with Luke. Props to Blind Wave for those thoughts; some of my favs so far.

This was such a satisfying end for me. I wasn't a huge fan early on, but I was hooked by season 2. I'm still hoping for Ahsoka, portrayed by Rosario Dawson on the big screen. My girls and I loved watching this show, and I enjoyed sharing something from my childhood with them...

I like how the show nodded to Return Of The Jedi with a reminiscing rebels character stating that some of the characters from Rebels were in the space battle over endor

I was just happy that no one else died... Sad that Kanan passed though.... I had thought they were ending the series with Scarif though, I would like to see Ghost Squad's involvement in that battle besides cameo.... Thrawn's disappearance DOES pave the way for an adapted version of Thrawn's Legends storyline though.

I have never watched all of Rebel's, only random episodes which I have enjoyed immensely and random youtube videos also. As of tomorrow DisneyXD channel are starting it from the beginning so I have already put it on to record. I am not a child but with Star Wars I think it really doesn't matter. :D

The epilouge was an exact shot for shot copy of the first episode of rebels, with sabine taking the place of ezra

I definitely would love to explore the post jedi era more, but reallyyyy wanna dive into old republic stuff. Explore the types of characters, events, factions etc that turned the saga we know into what it was. “A long long LONG time ago” 😂

I'd honestly put Rebels over Clone Wars. Clone Wars had the greatness of Ahsoka Tano, who's my favorite Star Wars character, but Rebels had MORE interesting, great characters in Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, and Ezra Bridger.

If they make a series that takes place post-ROTJ I'd be more excited to see it tie in to the Aftermath books than tie into TFA or ROTJ characters...
Those books do such a great job world building that untouched era of the saga and introduce a lot of new interesting characters on both side that I'd want to see crossover with the new show.

I get what you're saying Emma about having every corner of Star Wars covered, but I don't see the journey to find Ezra the same way that I see the story the Solo movie is going to cover. I love Han, don't get me wrong, and I'm sure that I'll go see the Solo movie and really like it, purely because it's Star Wars, but I haven't yet felt and big desire for it, not like I did for The Last Jedi, or leading up to this second half of Rebels. It exists for me in a kind of neutral area. I guess a simpler way to put it is, that if the Solo movie was cancelled I wouldn't be that upset, but if it was confirmed that this story to find Ezra wouldn't ever be made, I'd be very disappointed.

Let's also remember that this isn't just about Ezra. Thrawn is still out there, and since Filoni confirmed that they are alive, it's important I think to explain them in some way. Trust me, if it was just Ezra who made a heroic sacrifice, but it was left ambiguous, I'd be fine with it never confirming anything. That's how I felt about Ahsoka right after season 2. However, when you add in Thrawn I feel like it's still important to see that to the end. I've never read the Thrawn trilogy, but I know, even from his time in Rebels, that he is a character worth doing more with.
