You know what, Hugh, most “real” people really don’t care about the changing ideologies of the parties, or the parties, or history, given where it has lead us? They just want someone to help them in their struggles. However, I’m not sure those with all the connections understand anymore. For God’s sake, they cut the cable TV at my handicapped brothers’s group home. Who would do such a thing to a handicapped individual? Especially, one who loves watching baseball, the Weather Channel, and the old ‘60’s shows which remind him of a time long ago when he had his family nearby to understand. I think to myself——- where, when, why did it all go haywire and keep coming back to the feminist movement. Now, here we are with no one home to care for the children and a dying population. Grandparents are the childcare providers, and I will be honest with you, I’d hoped to be doing something with my own life after mine were raised. But here we are, doing what we can to keep it all afloat, while talking heads don’t really understand the struggle.
