“You want to be comfortable and you want to have friends”has to be the simplest and purest way to articulate what truly matters.

I'm a 5'3 guy. It used to bother me a lot, but then I realized people of true quality don't care. That gave me a lot of confidence.

Wait.. he isn’t bothered by something he has no control over? How revolutionary

Danny has nothing to worry about, he’s perfect the way he is. The guy is an international treasure.

If this man passes before me, I'm gonna be really really sad. He made me laugh many times when I needed it most.

I get his point. If you are short, go for the tallest girl because she is going through the same thing on the opposite spectrum. Because, tweeners are tough and cutthroat.

This is one man that I really admire. A Great comedian, actor, director, producer...etc, etc.
Deep down I never felt that Danny was the kind of guy who put limitations on himself the way we might have imagined if we were in his shoes. His confident quality and gracious demeanor have always been at the forefront of his personality. He is a giant in my eyes.
People throw around that "National Treasure" title all the time, but when it comes to Danny Devito, it fits!

I know that guy. He used to run a Taxi Cab service back in the 70's.

I love Danny Davito's voice. Not just because it can be funny, but sounds like a great all-round range of voice acting.

I'm 5'3 and have no desire to b any taller, people underestimate me all the time, the feeling I get when I accomplish something I was told I couldn't do is the best feeling ever.

Randomly I met Danny Devito at comic con, I only waved and said hi as I didn't want to bother him, but he smiled and was very friendly.

He’s the man, I’m glad he masterfully turned that question around with no drama. A class act that is comfortable in his own skin, a brilliant actor and a comedic genius, and he’s short, big whoop, that doesn’t define him.

I read "being shot" and kept wondering when he'd talk about that.

My mother is 4'9". My grandmother was 4'8". My great grandmother was 4'2". I fully understand where Danny DeVito is coming from. It's an issue I have grown up around all my life. My mother is still living. Both my twisted sisters are 5'2". My late father was 5'7". I'm 5'6", I once dated a gal for a little over a year who was 6'3". I can tell you from personal experience that this man speaks the truth.

He’s not short we are all just unnaturally tall

I bet he's so sick and tired of being asked this.

I love how his response basically boils down to

"Hey short, tall, doesn't matter, as long as I get some tail at the end of the day"

My dad was 5" 6", but I never heard him say or behave as if he thought this was a problem. He was also way more intelligent than everyone else, but I also never heard him say or behave as if this made him better than anyone else. He was a great role model.

Love Danny Devito. He was one of my favorite actors as a kid I was inspired by how he also played a confident tough guy despite his size
