Love that "you don't understand my plight" line. Walks away like he nailed it. Absolutely no self awareness. And Church was the guy for the job haha. Also love it when Giamattis character finally flips out at him on the golf course. Great misdirection with the fuckin old golf guys interrupting the thing we'd been waiting for. Both characters were train wrecks in Sideways. One of my favorite movies and it was filmed in my neck of the woods. Grew up in Lompoc, Buelton and Santa Ynez.

When he learns his ex is pregnant at the end of the film, Paul Giamatti's performance is so powerful but also so simple and understated. It might be my favorite piece of acting ever. He conveys so much in a few silent seconds.
