What's up, guys, it's Deal Advisor, in this video we are talking about some of the things I hate about Google Pixel 8 Pro. The list is not complete, I've shared one of the most disapointing points. Unfortunatelly, nobody on YouTube touched on these things. If I knew there are so many issues, bugs and limitations, I'd most probably look elsewhere and pick another device. The truth is, that Google Pixel 8 Pro is pretty raw and not ready for production in my opinon. Simple things simply don't work, let alone the fancy AI features that Google claimed to deliver.

A couple other things I want to mention:
1. Pixel is pretty picky when it comes to chargers. And it may not charge rapidly using some chargers it doesn't like (although those may deliver 30w+)
2. The best take feature in Galery REQUIRES a photo to be synced with Google cloud before letting you make edits to it

My double tap on the back is quite sensitive, maybe you need to change the sensitivity of double tap.

The only thing of everything you complain about and that I have experienced is Summarize'. The rustling you hear from the camera is completely natural for a camera with real zoom. My P8P has never been hotter than the environment it is in. Don't you think you just have to go back to your iPhone again? After all, they are made for people who can't figure anything out on their own.

On thing that people don't seem to complain about, but personally drove me mad with the Pixel 7 and it appears to keep going, is the button placement. Seriously having the volume control UNDER the power button just drives me insane and is the reason I switched to another brand after a few months with the Pixel

Whatever you guys do, don't disable the animations.. Just go into developer options and turn the 3 options from 1x to .5x. Because disabling then mashed the phone seem choppy.. The animations make navigating the phone feel natural.. But lowering it to .5x will make it feel much better. Please do not shake your phone like he is doing in the video it will destroy your camera and pulls. Pixel had always had close all apps on the far left and it's an easy fast swipe to get to. Most pixel users know this and have been doing this for years.

Thanks for watching everyone! Hope you find this video informative. As I've said, I understand that some of the points I've mentioned could be subjective. Some other issues, hopefully will be resolved with the upcoming updates (although so far the updates made things worse, like with the example of AI generated wallpapers). I felt really excited when purchasing the Google Pixel 8 Pro, however I feel disappointed after using it. I think the price of Pixel 8 Pro is not justified and it's not a good deal. Pixel 8 is a better option to go with, if you really want to pick Pixel. However, I'd personally recommend looking elsewhere. Although many folk really enjoy Pixel devices :) If you like them too, just be prepared that some things may not work as you may expect them to. Have great deals everyone!

First, I have a question for you. What is your daily driver ? I'm going on my fourth week with my Pixel 8 Pro and luckily I've experienced none of these problems that you have. A phone got warm during the first setup out the box but since then it's been running smooth. No problems, no issues. Maybe it's different for us here than U.S

Side note: the very first part of the video is recorded on Pixel 8 Pro camera. The whole audio of the video is recorded on it as well, with the use of audio eraser feature.
