"Asked for unreasonable compensation" just makes me angry because I know they're trying to pay you just over minimum wage (which is enough to never get ahead in modern day america). When you went to college and are supposed to get the promise of a decent job.

It’s probably the percentage of employers who say they’ve ever had a candidate do this, not the percentage of candidates who do this

“Unreasonable compensation” is a way of an employer stating someone is asking their worth . A lot of these jobs are advertised under market value .

Lol asking for a reasonable conversation is what they call asking for enough pay to survive and live lol what they call unreasonable compensation is literally medium, but they don’t wanna pay that

I've had friends give recommendations for me. But who the hell would take their parents.

The second one really depends on your point of view. I did a job interview where I was going to be doing the work of 2 people and they were putting me in a position where I would be responsible for all the stock in the shop in addition. But they only offered me $11 an hour. That was easily a $25 an hour job. I'm not doing a $25 an hour job for $11. They were the unreasonable ones, not me.

I've had mothers and even grandmother's show up for the interview for their son/grandson and he didn't come because they applied for him and thought they could convince me to hire him and they would make sure he came to work
Like wtf world we live in now😮

Struggle with eye contact because our elders made us feel bad for trying to speak to them as if we are equals, asked for unreasonable compensation because a reasonable compensation is not enough to live on, dressed inappropriately because our education system and parents couldn't be bothered to instill how important formal attire is in certain situations, refused to turn on virtual camera during virtual interview because phone is too cheap to handle video interview and personal pc is too cheap to have a camera, can't justify bringing parent to interview though, that's just straight up embarrassing.
