Chinese Ambassador to South Africa has hinted that Indian PM Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping will hold bilateral talks on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit. Their potential meeting would be the first formal meeting since the border clashes in May 2020. It also comes in the backdrop Chinese efforts to expand BRICS grouping. Miss molly sharma, in my opinion China's ambitions to become fully recognized as a global power has merit. It's stubling block was some countries it traded with did not co-operate fully & realistically. China needs g20 countries & brics member countries influence & support to fullfill it's mandate on becoming & being recognized as a global super-power. If China can accomplish this so to can India very soon. The world will be safer & not have to rely on the United States for law & order pertaining to security.
