The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial continues on Monday in the high court in Pretoria. Five men are currently on trial for the soccer star's 2014 murder.

I'm reading the comments, but some I choose to differ after viewing the video clip, Mr. Sibiya answered very well, and Sibanda knows that, that's why he's trying to confuse him. That's why he's cross-examination is going nowhere except focusing on the incident of assult.

I see there is no point arguing with people here on this case. How can you say prosecutor is asking weak questions. Cases are won based on technicalities not on eloquence. This guy keeps throwing his defense lawyer under the bus on several occasions. And you see people here saying Sibiya did a great job

Mngo was looking for sympathy from the judge and the public when he stressed messed-up. Messed-up gives a worse impression of police brutality. He did not realise it would be used against Sibiya during cross examination. It backfired! Pun not intended.

Hahahaha!!! I can see now that we have been arguing with people who don't know court rules. For the accused person answering the question the way he does gives Mr Baloyi facts to say the testimony of the accused person was unreliable as he failed to answer most of the questions put to him. I start to enjoy the case now

Sibiya has worse contradictions of his version in the main trial. His original version does not tie in with VRL. His clothing. The 2 witnesses that he was arrested next to. Traditional healer. Blood on the confession papers. Third party cell inspections. The colour of the Golf 7, etc.

Because Sibiya has no witnesses, the prosecution will go for character assassination, his lack of memory and discrepancy betwen him and his advocate's version.

I think Mngo will have no option but to cross examin Sibiya during redress. This is however not allowed. It will be interesting to watch Mngo overcome this challenge. He is experienced enough.

Lies have short legs and the defence in my view should have allowed the accused to go into the witness box. On several occadions this witness is throwing his attorney under the bus and it can't get worse than this. The defence should have rather opted for expert witnesses unless they say they don't have one. You can't have a guy who says he was severly kicked untill they messed themselves up and yet there were no bruises. Anyway let's see what pans up

Why were police taking pictures instead of making a beautiful confession video. If that police video eas running all over mass media. We would not be listening to this bullshit from Gininda. What gininda is saying just doesn't carry any weight. A senior police like Gininda would not rely on silly statement such as Ntanzi is a gun runner, with guns even on the roof ceiling.
