Lots of ugly memories working on those on Friday nights in the dark with a flash light and Saturdays in a mud puddle with rain coming in sideways. Tree limbs, rotting fir needles and big leaves make a slurry that burns your skin raw the day after. Pulling cabs to change a blown hose or just an O ring. Gauges that never worked right. Starters that had to have the engine lifted in order to change them. Broken front and rear axles and center hitches that were so sloppy they bucked the operator around like riding on a saddle horse. So glad I never have to work on one of those ever again. Thanks for the picts.

The vintage of your pics, around my area, mostly Timberjack and Clark Rangers. My buddy Dave called his clark ranger, the rectum ranger, cuz that's what it felt like after a days work.
