For those who are wondering why i don’t cover green windows on my base and release series here are my reasons. I already tested for green windows and after lots lots of samples i can’t see much of a difference. It’s either the difference is super super small or nothing at all.

Now you might be wondering “Then why there’s a make % difference on bases and releases?”. Based on my results it was accurate that slower shot speeds have slightly better green chances/window than faster ones which makes sense as a rule of nature; even if the target is of the same size naturally the slower target will be hit more than the faster one. So i think the chances of you greening a shot is directly proportional to your shot speed.

So for the short answer on why i dont include green window, I think it’s not worth to test because it doesn’t matter much compared to challenge %.and the time consumption of testing green window is not really reasonable.

For more perspective a 5-10% can alter your timing big time already and if you follow my charts, popular bases have a range of upto 20% average coverage which is a lot of difference that’s why im saying that challenge % is more important.

Now you might say, “i only take open shots so i dont care about challenge %”, i see you what you mean but having a base/release with better coverage will get you more open shots.

For a green window test to be that accurate,, you have to be fair with all base/releases and it’s hard to make comparisons between two entities that have different timing(It’s easy on badge testings because all badge level will be under the same timing so you can really compare them fairly). You have to hit that exact middle of the window for each because if you don’t then there’s no point of testing because it will just give you false results.

And i'm telling you, locating the perfectly exact middle of the window is a tough job and almost impossible..if you miss 1-4 ms (which i believe the usual difference of windows between bases) then you'll be just giving false readings because there's huge chance that the difference you saw on the windows might be just the result of your error on locating the middle of the green window..if that makes sense.

2K def gotta retool the finishing animations and contest system soon enough because practically needs to be hand in hand with style/flair. You have to use the most basic animations to be effective, Westbrook, MJ, and Kyrie finishing packages he damned

Long athletics is and has been the best overall layup package in the game for as long as I remember. The cap to unlock it has always been in the 70s on driving layup and it's contest and make % have always been one of the best every year.

You have to test/compare layup package “default small guard” I commented on the last the first layup video. The small guard layup package is the go to for me and seems to be the most well rounded layup package for guards. Euros, spins, floater, driving layups you name it that package has it in my personal opinion. Test it and see what numbers you get tutes. #nodunksquad

This is just my opinion but kyrie irving package is more of an acrobat guards (i know i just stated the obvious) but what i meant is changing layup. It’s just there for smaller guard who really can’t dunk consistently but kyrie’s layup package requires a lot of badges to be effective (acrobat, fearless finisher, and etc). As for long athlete, it simplicity straight to the hoop. But try using long athlete and change your layup mid way and it won’t give you the same range of motion as kyrie package. To summarize:

Kyrie Package = small guards with a lot of finishing badges but can’t dunk consistently and knows how to use the pro stick in changing layup mid air and getting that and-one opportunity. Drawback, exposes ball too much and isn’t effective in park coz there is no and-one in park

Long athlete- when you love simplicity. Great all-around layup package park or pro-am. Only needs 70 layup and doesn’t require any badge to work effectively. The only drawback for this is, its effective on taller player but why do a layup when ur player is tall and can easily dunk. It’s just perfect for grinding finishing badges when player can’t yet dunk consistently

Finally a vid that talks abt the kyrie lay package! I have been wanting to make a build with high layup to get the kyrie layup package, but looks like its prolly just not worth it in 2k22 since layup gets blocked so easily. Could u pls test fearless finisher on HOF? Thanks for the vid btw!

I like this type of review because the Layup packages don't constantly get tweaked/F'd with by the 2k devs, like Badges and Defense do. We need these earlier, next 2k please(all love/respect)
