Thank you for sharing more of the story of your journey toward getting a correct diagnosis! This was all super interesting and really emotional to watch.

I really appreciated your chart comparing cyclothymia, bipolar 2, and bipolar 1. That made it easy to understand the nuances of each. It was also interesting to learn how life events can influence episodes, and to hear the story of how your first gay relationship was one of those life events for you. I could really feel the emotions in how you talked about the progression of both that relationship and the episode you went through.

I'm glad you were able to get help, and that taking lithium lifted you out of your depression at that time. (Your detailed explanation of how lithium works was fascinating as well! I had no idea about any of that.) It sounds really tough that after this episode, you had to face the reality that your condition was getting worse. I'm glad that you've been able to live independently and do all the awesome things you do (even after having doubts about whether that would be possible). And I hope that with medication and therapy, things continue moving in a positive direction for you, regardless of what may happen with future episodes.

Thanks so much again for sharing all of this! I'm looking forward to seeing the next parts of your story and finding out how you were eventually diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder.

Reminds me of my dad and his depression. He's effected by events as well. I hope everything is going well for you. 🙏
