She is so bad ass. Fun fact about this song is she wrote this after breaking up with the lead singer of Seether. If you want ideas for the next one Everybody's Fool is a great one. Lithium is also a good one.

You should definitely do more of Evanescence. Songs like My Immortal and Lithium have such a punch to them when it comes to the emotions they convey.

I recently went back and watched the video for Everybody's Fool and it is so crazy how ahead of the times the lyrics are. It's a crazy accurate comment on celebrity culture and social media before social media had even taken off.

LITHIUM!!!! One of hers and the bands finest. Amy and her band are a perfect example of symphonic metal. Her beautiful angelic voice and that hard 'grungie' metal backing are a match made in heaven. LITHIUM!!!! (You know you want to...) 😜 🙋‍♂

Her voice is so haunting, yet dreamy. Excited to hear your breakdown of the production, lyrics and everything! Always so enlightening. Thanks for what you do!

My favorite line, "YOU NEVER CALL ME WHEN YOU'RE SOBER, YOU ONLY WANT IT, CUZ IT'S OVER!!!"

Damn! Amy is the queen! Next 2 big hitters.

GOING UNDER (big banger)

EVERYBODY'S FOOL (Amy's best video- should have won Emmy! 😊)

Would love to hear what you think of the female voices of Amy Lee and Lzzy Hale together in the song Break In by Halestorm. Two of the best female leads.

Wow, Knox, you never cease to amaze me how easily you break songs down. Back when you only did rap songs, it was like, "Yeah, he's great at breaking these songs down, but this is the industry he grew up in. He knows everything about it." I always wondered how you'd handle rock songs. But once you started doing rock reactions, from the first song you did, you were just as incredible at breaking down songs completely out of your comfort zone. And as usual, you hit it out of the park with this one. You are my favorite breakdown reactor out there, and it's not even close. I used to group you with a couple of others. But you, my friend, are the best out there at breaking down any song out there, not to mention picking up the lyrics the first time (even heavy metal lyrics) im not trying to give you a big head. I just wanted to give you your flowers and give credit where credit is due.

Now you gotta listen to "Breakdown" by Seether. If i recall this song is about the lead singer of Seether as they were dating before this song came out. "Breakdown" is a response effectively to this song.

It's missing Evanescence's going under, lithium, everybody's fool, my heart is broken, sweet sacrifice, what you want and better without you reaction.

Another song I absolutely love is Sweet Sacrifice by Evanescence.

To confirm your analysis of this song. This song came out after her and the lead singer of Seether broke up. She is talking about how there relationship came to an end.

+10 years listening to this song and watching the video and never noticed the bottles thing 😂 You surprise me with the Evanescence reactions and those details.
Please take a look to "Everybody's Fool" or "Lithium" by Evanescence. 🔥

Their last record, The Bitter Truth is awesome too and few people react to it sadly. The intro of it, called Broken Pieces Shine is such a dope song

Old school Evanescence still goes so hard today. Lithium, Going Under, Good Enough, My Last Breath, Tourniquet, Everybody's Fool, Missing, and so many other really deserve a place on your channel. ❤

My friend, you need to check out “Good Enough”. It’s written about her husband. Even the instrumental version carries so much palpable emotion, that i tear up a little when listening to it.

Call Me When You're Sober, Haunted, and My Heart is Broken are definitely in my top 3 songs for Evanescence.

She made this song because of her ex. The front singer from Seether called Shaun Morgan.
She was on one of their songs that really blew up called Broken. ( You should listen to that )
But because he suffered from mental issues, and his brother killed himself, so he was drinking a lot. However Shaun Morgan and Seether is a amazing band that does not get enough credit.
And often when people learn about it, it is with their song broken, and because of Amy being in it.

This song also reminds me of Within Temptations "What have you done" ft. Keith Caputo ( A rather famous singer )
Same sort of wipe. and both amazing bands.

Also a small edit.
Mostly because I found it funny how you spoke about how she "Rise up" and "Rise over it" at the end.
Because Seether actually made a song called Rise above this. However it is not about Amy.
Its about mental issues and preventing suicide. It was released the year after he lost his brother to that.
And Shaun have since that done a lot to support places who help people who suffer from mental illness, and people who suffer from having lost people to it.
Performing at shows for free to support it, donating money and spreading awareness.
But was just a little fun you used those exact words" Rise above this ", considering Seether have a song called Rise above this, and Call me when you are sober is about the front singer of Seether.
