I just can't help going back to Coltrane's work from time to time. There's something about his music that just hits me hard... So intense, aggressive, gentle, deep....
.
In this study I'm exploring some fast passages over his composition called India, trying to mimic the way he just bursts some notes, in an almost chaotic way.... But still, with very specific color palettes.... It feels fascinating to try to create these bridges between musical universes and instruments. ☯️
