I'm glad to say that I have learned how to live well with my scoliosis condition. My thoracic curve is profound and visible. The worst thing is inactivity and I need to move for me to be pain free. Regular yoga classes help me alot. Also massage and swimming every week is part of my cure. Let's see, a question ❓
When twisting in yoga class, I have learned that one side I move better than the other and I don't judge or force it. This is a way of being good to myself. No judgement is another benefit of the yoga path.
I am now in my sixties and you have nailed it with the points you cover - stress! Yes, it has created a jaw pain problem
Any suggestions for that?
