As a 10 year experience bird owner, I can tell you one thing: birds choose who they want to be with when things like this happen! They keen on sensing who’s going to care for them or who can help them to get better. I have a cockatiel who’s turning 10 this year. Few years ago I suddenly hear a cockatiel noise outside my house and I thought it was my cockatiel that had accidentally gone outside. Turned out to be a lost female cockatiel who probably flew out of her cage. She knew I could help her and was able to relocate her to the right people. Birds are AMAZING!! ❤🦜🐤
