Introducing the 'Gran Turismo 7' Free Update - February 2023

Update 1.29 for Gran Turismo 7 has been released on February 21, 2023.

This video introduces some of the content introduced in this update including full support for PlayStation®VR2 (PS5 version only), a new time-limited ‘Race Together’ mode featuring racing AI agent ‘Gran Turismo Sophy’ developed in collaboration with Sony AI and Sony Interactive Entertainment, drift photography support for ‘Scapes’, the return of classic fan-favourite racetrack ‘Grand Valley’, and 5 new cars including the 'Italdesign Vision Gran Turismo'.

PlayStation®VR2への完全対応（PS5版のみ）、ソニーAI、ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメント、ポリフォニー・デジタルの共同開発によるレーシングAIエージェント「グランツーリスモ・ソフィー」（以下GTソフィー）を体験できる期間限定イベント「レース・トゥギャザー」の追加、「スケープス」のドリフト撮影サポート、完全リニューアルを遂げた「グランツーリスモ」シリーズを代表する往年のテクニカルコース「グランバレー」の復活。そして「イタルデザイン エグゼネオ ビジョン グランツーリスモ」をはじめとする5台のクルマの追加収録など、多岐にわたるアップデート内容の一部を映像でご紹介いたします。

Did not expect a crossover between Grand Valley and Highway 1. Very interested to see what that will look like in full. Highway 1 is a great location in other games but the old Grand Valley was an amazing track too, so I hope at least one layout will still resemble the old track in terms of the corner sequence.

Update: It's actually exactly the old layout! And the new "South" layout is the old Grand Valley East.

As someone who just loves driving the Porsche 911s in the game, I'm going to spend a good chunk of my time driving the 911 Carrera RS around. I've been hoping it would come eventually, and it will be. Just hope the 911 GT2 comes eventually.
I'm also pretty interested in the RA272.

It would be nice if the Grand Valley Highway 1 track has at least one endurance race with a big payout. It would be a big missed opportunity if you gave us events that we're only going to race once because the credits you can earn from them are too low.

I hope the Nürburgring Sprint and Nürburgring Endurance layouts are included in this update as well. Let us buy engines for engine swap tunes and also let us buy special parts like the ultra high-RPM turbocharger and weight reduction stage 5 without having to hope we win them via a roulette ticket. I hope that more championships, missions and music rally races will also be added to Gran Turismo 7.

First major update of the year and it's a biggun!
I love the new design if Grand Valley! It's always been a favourite circuit of mine in the series.
Shame it's not a purpose-built race circuit, but this works too!
