Thank you Pastor Paul for explaining the Jewish wedding where the groom prepares a place and the father tells him when it’s ready. This really puts the passage into context of what Jesus is now doing and on what basis He will return.

I thank you for all of your teaching. It’s absolutely wonderful - insightful, encouraging and focused on the Good News - not just in the aspect of coming to know Christ but living our daily lives dependent on the Holy Spirit. The Word is so profound and rich in its power to transform the mind and heart. I am continually in awe of this and deeply grateful to be a child of such an awesome and loving and gracious King.

The Lord has been showing me my prayer motives for quite some time. And wow to what He has shown me. So many of my motives were wrong and based on my own desires and outcomes. I am thankful He continues to open my eyes to such wisdom. Without His Word and His prompting I would not know these things otherwise. And once I get over the initial shock of my wrong thinking and my wrong ways, I am humbled and full of joy that He has corrected it.
