I got my XR in Oct 2019 and I probably won’t upgrade for a few more years. Once my battery dips below 80% (it’s at 88) I’ll get the battery replaced for $69. Better and cheaper than upgrading. The phone is a beast.

i've been dreaming of getting an iphone someday. i worked to have the money and get myself the XR. i have more than enough now to get pre-loved ones, but i can't bring myself to buy it. im 19 and i feel guilty of buying such an expensive one while my parents' have cheaper phones :< im just gonna wait til my phone gets really old.
