My Review of the New Hazbin Hotel Angel Dust Song 'Poison'

So the newest hazbin hotel song called poison just released. It stars angel dust singing about his life, his job and his trauma. It’s extremely emotional and i absolutely love it. There’s been some fans complaining about angel’s new voice, with comparisons being made to the 2020 addict song since it’s quite similar. I’ll show you 10 seconds of each so you can hear the comparison.

Overall i love poison and it’s stuck in my head already. As much as i love michael kovach as angel, blake sounds amazing and i can’t wait to hear him in the full show.

I enjoy Angel’s new VA a lot. I enjoy Blake Roman voice acting for him, and I feel like it suits him very well. As soon as I heard Angel’s new voice, I instantly loved it. Now hearing his singing voice makes me love it even more.

Blake fits Angel's new design and style, if that makes sense. Michael was amazing but Blake's tone and vibe just fit the new style of Angel better. Obviously we don't know until the show comes out but Blake's Angel sounds more sultry and seductive where as Michael's was wild and energetic. Both I love for the version of the character they played but I'm very happy with Blake.

I remember when people complained of Stolas and his voice when it changed lol. Honestly it just needs time for people to get used it it because we were left with his voice in the pilot. I personally like his new voice and can't really tell the difference

I feel like the main difference between the two voices is the twang. Blake’s voice gives smooth notes while Michael’s has more definition.
