There are so many laws, but enforcement is zero. Sending young kids before 18 to these coaching centers needs to stop permanently. Advanced subjects should be part of high school as electives, 9am to 4pm, which is regular school time.

My parents never forced me but the neighbourhood & society all map a student only by Rank in India not the real skills that a child inherently possesses. Great move to restore the life in the young souls till a certain age . In the same way some rules or guidelines should be enacted to restrict the few schools that follow long school hrs nearly 12hrs to show the good result in JEE nd NEET ..

Schools have now joined this bandwagon in the name of integrated JEE / NEET curriculum in grades 11 and 12..This practice also needs to be regulated and curbed before the schools start capitalising on the lost market share of these coaching institutes..by hiking fees and transforming the schools on the lines of these coaching institutes..Some leading school brands in AP and Telangana have been running schools like coaching institutes for more than 2 decades now…How and when these will be curbed remains to be seen..

It is not enough. The Govt. must fix working hours in school and no school must be allowed to work beyond permitted timings. Class rooms should be locked outside working hours and students have to stay in the play grounds only..

Kudos to India govt. Not only control, scrap down all the entire pvt coaching institutes of the country which promote rote learning. Not only that they push these dumbo rote learners into the premier institutes by preventing the creative intelligent ones. The pvt institutes are the pests of the country which prevents the nation from growth of inventions and researches

India needs to first control Population by not providing free ration, education etc to anyone who has more than one child. Compitition is too high and jobs are too low. Other side AUTOMATION & AI

The poor parents have to torture their child for a good job.

There will always be loopholes and it will be as usual approach/ Talk about cracking down after actual enforcement. There were many laws but nil enforcement. Dowry system prohibition is a clear example, which is ubiquitous and is openly showcased in movies and everyday conversations without any kinf of fear of law.

Reintroduce ancient Gurukul tradition.
Teach these self obsessed narcissistic teens how to cook, farm, earn money, craftsmanship and become self sufficient.

Teach them about their ancient origins and life after death.

Teach them about spiritualism and moral values.
