Dear foreigners. This is a warning. Do NOT try soy noodles. High chance of your gag reflexes getting triggered. It's extremely bean-y as you would expect and the texture is really not something many of you will enjoy.
I remember trying this as a kid because my aunt loved it. I threw up.

Dude Korean food is THE BEST 💥 I’m a bit of a foodie and I love food from many countries, but by far Korean food is my favourite. There is so much variety, so much care and skill goes into preparing even things like sauces and broths, it’s like layer upon layer of flavour like a beautiful intricate painting. I don’t know how I lived so many decades without Korean food, but I’m never giving it up now that I’ve found it 😆

My opinion on Korean food is that, it's really good. Definitely comes in my top 10 favorite cuisine.
But I also get bored of its easily as there is not much diversity in flavors.

I swear to god the reason most foreigners don’t know how good and various Korean food is is because they live in tiny bubbles where they only go out to Hongdae and itaewon which has nothing but foreign food and bbq.
Let me tell you who is gatekeeping all the good restaurants. It’s the old people. The good food is not in those shiny restaurants in Hongdae ffs It’s in those shabby looking restaurants with bright red and blue lettering, where all of the customers are middle-aged to old.

I love Korean fried chicken, dak ggalbi, duk ppoki, bulgogi, some versions of bi bim bap, doeonjeong, samgyetang, naengmyeon. Not my favorite cuisine, but definitely crave certain dishes. Been in Korea for a long while.

Korean food is not mid (personal opinion). My whole life took a pivot just because I started learning how to cook korean food.. then korean, then listen to korean music and watching kdrama, then I made friends from korea online, then I took my first trip outside of my home country to travel to korean, then I went again this year and I'm already planning to go again next year.

My passion for korean food lead me on a journey I could never imagine I'd be on and I've made so many beautiful memories over the last couple years of my life... all because of some delicious food
