Chelsea striker Samantha 'Sam' Kerr scored five goals in Australia's massive 18-0 win over Indonesia in the group stage of the 2022 AFC Women's Asian Cup being held in India.
Sam Kerr is the all-time highest Australian goalscorer, above Tim Cahill in the list. Kerr won three trophies (FA Women’s Super League, FA Women’s League Cup and FA Women’s Community Shield) during the 2020-21 season and came second in the Women’s Champions League with Chelsea.
She has arrived in India for the 2022 edition of the AFC tournament in which Australia are in Group B alongside Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia.
