Cool but these are priced too high. Non SNK licensed boards and inserts just do not justify these prices.

€400 each, with current technology. It's a fucking joke.

I have a U.S copy of Andro Dunos I only paid around 70 bucks for it years ago.

Dude, an official Ganryu for the MVS is hardly ever up. If you find it, and want it, get ready to pay some paper.

I'm sure at least four of those games were never officially released for AES and were MVS only. That is why you see lots of converts on Ebay for some of them.

Stay classy if you’re a boy stay a boy and don’t complain.

This was unexpected but, cool. But no one should be surprised about the price.

There's a reason that there's so many conversion Carts for Visco games :-

Visco released 12 games for the Neo Geo MVS during it's lifespan, but ONLY 2 made it to AES - Andro Dunos & Breakers. (meanwhile the Neo Geo CD got Breakers and an exclusive home release of Neo Drift-out)

Annnnd... Bang Bang Busters which wasn't released until 2010 (by N.C.I for AES, then MVS & NGCD) They also re-released Andro Dunos, though only for the NGCD.

I'm not a major Visco fan, but Neo Drift-out is very addictive and by far the best racer on the system, while both of The Breakers games are definitely worth playing (if somewhat generic). I'd also recommend Andro Dunos if you liked Hellfire, as it has a similar weapon system.

It's important to note that some of these only came out for the MVS. This will be the fist time seeing them on the AES.

3rd party neo geo games are rarely known to this day. it's great they have another outlet

Why don't the just release the console itself?

Neo Geo games still cost a ton of money to produce. SNK could only make a profit for reprinting some of the most expensive titles. I'm holding out for an official SSV Perfect release.

I would like to see a teardown of one of these cartridges, to see if they made custom circuit boards. And also, what kind of memory technology is used (flash, eprom, …).

You gotta be *Richie Rich* or *Scrooge McDuck* to actually buy one those Viciously Expensive stuff.

I just recently added RBFF2, Savage Reign, Ninja masters’ and Metal Slug X to my modded AES system. Never say

Of course I’ve been working 12 hour shifts on my job since this virus nonsense started last year.

ALSO, don't buy conversion carts - there are far better (and cheaper) alternatives available. I brought an MVS-AES conversion of Fight Fever - long story short - it's a high quality convert using original chips (not re-programmable ones) and the soldering is very clean, if a bit 'blobby' in places - so I don't feel ripped off (despite the quality of the actual game itself LOL).

However, regardless of the professionalism of the conversion (especially after seeing some of the hack jobs I've seen out there), both an MVS cart AND an original AES cart were canibalised/re-purposed to make what is ultimately just a bootleg version of an unreleased game.

Indeed, when I see all the conversions carts on Ebay, I realise that this trade (based on the destruction of original Neo Geo carts), exists because people like me - who were tempted by the unobtainable. Not good.

400 euros for a repro, what a ripoff
Edit: BTW, can they just re-release Neo Drift Out without paying royalties to Mitsubishi, Subaru and Toyota?

Lol breakers revenge was never released on aes. For a neo geo guy you arent very knowledgable im shocked.

These aren’t official SNK games. They’re effectively counterfeit.
