In this final part of the history of McDonald’s we see how most of the iconic items on the McDonald’s menu were created. The hot coffee case, the shamrock shake, a failed new McDonald’s restaurant idea, what happened to Mac and Dick McDonald along with Ray Kroc is all here in this epic conclusion to the History of McDonald’s series here on IIWR.

Thanks for watching, this documentary series was extremely enjoyable for me to put together, so far I’ve actually seen the previous videos being used in online school websites, which is such an honor to me as I was such a horrible student in school. So for me to be in any way shape or form and educator…I would have thought I’d never see the day.

I also enjoyed eating the food that I bought to film for all the parts in this. It was justified to eat McDonald’s a lot these past few weeks.

More videos to come about McDonald’s in the future. But for now a much needed break!

Enjoy!

A friend of mines parents opened up a burger joint in our small town in Indiana, population 6, 000 in the late 60's. They created the "Mr.G" burger and had their own special sauce very similar to the McDonald's recipe. Operated it for about 15 years and made a fortune, moving to Florida in their mid 50's. The Big Mac remains my favorite to this day. ❤

McDonald Land originated when I was one. That same year a McDs opened which became our go to McDs. In 1972 a travelling McDonaldland with people wearing the costumes made an appearance at our McDs. My dad took me there and it was awesome. We had slide pictures of the event with me pising with the characters, smiling ear to ear. Then later in the 70s McDs introduced glasses with the various characters.
