I remember meeting Lorenzo in person a number of years ago at The Great Yorkshire Show in England.
One of my horses had just passed away the day before and I really wasn't in the best of moods, so was wearing a pair of sunglasses to disguise my swollen eyes.
He seemed so humble. I also remember seeing a tiny market stall selling his baseball caps and T Shirts. The people on the market stall seemed very normal, down to earth and friendly.
Then all of a sudden, a magnificent number.of well behaved free horses appeared outside the Entrance Ring. Then the actual performance by Lorenzo and his team completely blew me away

The amount of training and trust between Lorenzo and those horses is the most impressive site I have ever seen. I have been around and used to place equine personal for a employment service and how easily horses get spooked and how they have a mind of their own is really amazing. At the time mark 2:29 when they are lining up to take their bow the one white horse realized he was on the wrong side and went to where he was supposed to be has got to be the most unbelievable thing I have ever seen. Also at the 1:33 mark to get them all to move at different speeds to do that trick is just brilliant. Just to compare here's a link to another horse show and not saying what Dan James isn't hard also but the difference in the tightest of the horses really shows how hard it is to do these kind of shows.
