BME Capstone 2020 - Team 29 - Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) Microcatheter

We are Southwest Endovascular, a team of biomedical engineers at Arizona State University and we are developing an advanced microcatheter solution for arteriovenous malformation (AVM) embolizations that reduces procedure time, enhances technical success, and ensures patient safety. This design includes radial exits ports that reliably promote formation of a solid anti-reflux plug, preventing microcatheter tip entrapment and facilitating complete nidal occlusion by unrestricted anterograde flow of liquid ONYX.
