I have issues with cruise control. It lights up when button in pressed. However when trying to set speed by moving lever down, nothing happens.

There was air bag error light on dash, hence changed the clock spring to know if that was the issue. But it didn't fix the cruise control set issue.

Inspected brake light switch under the pedal, it works fine, brake lights are working too.

Have done OBD, no errors showing up. However when I try live data checking, value doesn't remain in ON position after I press the cruise control button ON. It shows ON at the moment I press the button ON and immediately shows OFF but the green cruise illuminates on the Dash.

Do you have any fix to try on this ? Car is in Abu Dhabi now ( GS 300, 2007)
