When I first heard of the new level being called "the void", I kinda imagined it would look like that one super secret room with mom's hand and a lot of pickups.

The music gave me chills when I got to The Void for the first time, and it's still one of the best tracks in the game. It was a great idea to take parts of other tracks (like Genesis 22:10, Diptera Sonata and Fundamentum) and make them into an epic metal medley.

I like the idea of the Void, but I don't like how it can appear anywhere from Depths 2 to Chest/Dark Room if it's meant to be a final "compilation level". Considering that they added a victory lap feature to Dark Room, it would make much more sense for the Void to open after you clear both Dark Room and Chest

Terminus: The End.

This does not only make sense about the destiny of the game (Afterbirth+ is the last dlc thing) but also in-universe, as Isaac's chest world is starting to decay, and he can't control it anymore, resulting also in Delirium, a mental state that drives the host insane, or in this case, an enemy that changes form and almost never reveals it's true one, driving Isaac (and the player) insane.

Ridiculon is great at making boss themes and final level music. Just listen to his Meat Boy soundtracks for Chapter 6.

Would have been a perfect time to add Sacrificial and some older themes in as well, this is the end, the final fight against the inevitable. Older themes would have made sense with the idea of the memories too.
