How does endometriosis affect a female's sexual function or her sex life?

Certainly, it can be quite debilitating. Painful intercourse has negative repercussions. Not only is it painful during the act of intercourse, sometimes it can be painful after intercourse the next day, or painful with orgasm. When you have this negative feedback, it also decreases your libido, because you don't want to continue to do something that's painful. And your sexual health is certainly a part of your overall health and wellbeing. And it's important to be addressed.
