when I swipe right from home screen there is no side bar with the "create" option. There is only the bottom bar with post, story, reel, or live.

Ditto to what the prior commenter said, when I swipe right it does not give me a “create” option. It asks for permission to access my camera and gives Post, Story, Reel and Live options.
