Sad to see this be the last time Brewers play in the Coliseum. I really enjoyed the 90's games when Brew Crew were in the AL and made the yearly trip to the Coliseum to play. I'm just going miss something about it. Screw the idiots for taking the A's outta Oakland

The only thing consistent about CB Bucknor is his inconsistency.

I'm an A's fan, but it has to be acknowledged that they were both strikes in the bottom of the fourth.

There's an argument that part of baseball is also playing the umpire and what they typically call balls and strikes, and it does have to be said that CB Buckner is known for having a small vertical strike zone.

The counter argument is that umpires are officiating at the elite level of the sport and so, it is up to them to accept when their strike zone is too big, too small, too wide, etc, and adjust.

Either way, I'll accept that those were two bad calls in the fourth by CB Buckner, regardless of if the A's benefitted from it.

The A's didn't win. The umpire gave it to em, out of pity (or they are bought, it is professional sports)
