Did you know that in Back to the Future, Marty McFly Dies at least twice but Doc goes back in time to save him.

The first time is when he's on the roof of biff's building, he goes to the edge to see if Doc is there to save him.
We can see Marty breathing heavily and nervously thinking to himself that he may be the variant that gets shot in order for Doc to learn of his death and come to his rescue, that is until he checks over the edge again and sees the Delorean hovering in place, relaxes and jumps off the building.
Doc knew when and where to save Marty because the original Marty died here.
The second time is when he is about to get rammed by Biff, but Doc once again went back to save him, knowing the exact moment and location the original Marty died.

Edit:
This movie detail is also confirmed by Doc's change in personality throughout the movies, for example:
In part III Doc doesn't remember dressing Marty in those ridiculous western clothes.
Another example:
Doc from part I was too scared to fire a pistol at the terrorists.
Doc from part III fearlessly aims his rifle at Hill Valley's most notorious outlaw ready to shoot him.
Marty is the only one who doesn't change because the story revolves around him(he is the main character) and the movie only shows the timeline where he wins every time.

Edit 2:
More proof: in a deleted scene you can see how Biff dies as his timeline changes. Also even before we see Marty time-travel the first time, there are several hints that the timeline has been altered before. (For example, look at Doc's expression after telling Peabody's story that he had a crazy idea to bread pine trees (Probably he realized he told the wrong story ) but in the past, he has only 2 pine trees, there was no sign of a tree farm. Also at Peabody's farm, he had a comic book with the DeLorean and Marty's suit, another hint that Marty died.)
That's at least 3 times we know Marty died :D

This isn’t confirmed, but it’s a likely theory.

(Edit) Now upon further review (I watched the movie again), I’ve decided that I don’t think that Marty did die. If you can remember when Marty first gets into the apartment, Biff asks, “How’d you get past security?” How indeed. I suspect that he used the roof, and that was his and Doc’s rendezvous point. Later, when he is being chased down by Biff’s car after retrieving the Almanac, and Doc saves him with the rope, I also don’t think he died. Remember, Doc was with him the whole time then. Doc dropped him behind the car and then flew off, following him like a helicopter. He knew Marty was going to come out of the tunnel, but when it took too long, he dropped the rope knowing that Marty was in trouble.

Fun theory - but Doc doesn't mess with time unless it's to fix the timeline....or to save Marty's kids...or to wear a vest to save his life...or to get a skin transfusion...or to upgrade the Delorean...or...I suppose you might have a point.

1. The rooftop escape was always the plan of doc and marty.
Let me explain:
Earlier biff asks marty how he got past the security downstairs, marty however came from the the roof thats why the security never noticed him.
While he is escaping he has the chance to go downstairs, he however runs up to the roof knowing that doc will come to get him, after arriving on the roof, before marty even knows that biff followed him, marty is already shown to be looking for doc.
I think this all makes it very clear that this was their plan from the beginning.

2.As for the tunnel scene, doc is activly checking if everything goes according to plan, he didn't just leave, so when he noticed that biff tried to run over marty, of course he intervined, there is no reason to believe that marty died there.

Or... Hear me out: Marty and Doc planned the whole conversation with Biff because that man was an egomaniacal menace who would for sure try to kill Marty once he knows about Sports Almanac either old Biff warned him or not. Marty relaxed because Doc had arrived where planned, Doc is a genius and very quick-witted and he's not Rick to let Marty into such danger, taking such big chances without a plan.

And for the second one I'll try a bit wilder theory: Doc had no reason to leave the scene just because he had dropped Marty to get the damn book so he was just off screen watching the whole scene go down since Doc ain't dumb and knew Marty would need quick extraction after getting the book and the very instant he was in danger he just came into play to rescue him since he was just some few meters above and the scene simply created tension by showing Marty alone when he wasn't

Michael Fox was a fantastic actor. I loved all his movies and shows. he will be missed. I know his family is hurting. they miss him so. may God bless them and help them get through these hard.times. Micheal was funny too and hot. his family was so lucky to have had him in their lives for as long as he was alive. he went through a lot. but he never let parkens get him down. he. did More movies until he couldn't no more. he went on talk sh ows and the vewe.i followed him

Wait... oh, i never thought of this... hmmm 🤔 The more we watch these movies the deeper they get, what a wonderful trilogy. Insight like this just shows how well they were thought out. And then thinking about this, Marty does the same thing in part 3 to save Doc. Brillant trilogy, just brillant.
