If you threaten to kill another individual with a gun and it's recorded you don't just go free your charged and go to jail unless you're a cop you just got fired

A major problem is that the corrupt angry cop could get a cop job in another jurisdiction unless there is some way to prevent that from happening. We ask a lot of cops, but many of them shouldn't be cops in the first place.

The Deputy should have been arrested, charged and put in prison.

The saddest question I have is, what police department does he work for now?

It took two months for that psychopath to be fired, not arrested, not charged with any crime, just fired. That says everything you need to know about American police and sheriff departments.

Some people don’t need to be cops…This is sad..

Well, that was a pretty intense stop for a very low key driver. Cop had serious road rage.

Until they get rid of Qualified Immunity, most police will not be personally effected by lawsuits, but instead the department will have to pay. That makes it too easy for cops to think they're untouchable.

No matter how many lawsuits that happen this will never stop

He should go after Sanchez’ personal assets in the lawsuit. The problem here is that Sanchez can go rogue and expect the taxpayer to be completely on the hook for any damages he did while on the job. That is true if he was following the policy while on the job such as a pursuit where a bystander is killed or injured. Unless it is the policy of that agency to point a gun at an unarmed man with his hands up and threaten to kill him, he broke his department policy so the taxpayer should not be responsible for it.

If there were no video there would have been no punishment for the officer, no one would believe the victim and the victim probably would have charged and convicted of a felony like has happened so many times before.

He’s probably already going through the hiring process in another jurisdiction… We need a national list of these kind of people so they can not get rehired!

A huge part of problems such as this, most of the time an officer would resign rather than get fired. Then find a position in another law enforcement department. Even if the are fired, many times they are hired or at least eligible to be hired elsewhere. In these situations their career in any law enforcement agency should end. Depending on the circumstances maybe make it so they can't even own/carry/use a firearm again.

That deputy was out of control and should never be a deputy again. He is a danger to society. Keep him off the streets. They think they are above the law.

That’s definitely the quintessential cop ego. Only police departments can train you to escalate any situation with any person for no reason at all.
May him and every other crooked cop live in infamy for the rest of their sad pathetic lives.

If a normal civilian pointed a gun at a innocent bystander and verbally threatened there life they'd go to jail ASAP. GIVE THIS MAN JAIL TIME. As a Latina myself It disgust me to see someone in my community represent us like this.

I feel so sorry for you sir but I'm glad you're still here that's the important thing.

This former deputy should be in jail, making a death threat multiple times while holding a gun on an unarmed man. 18 USC 242 Deprevation of rights under color of law.

Thanks for talking over 90 percent of the video. It really helped me with my frustration tolerance problem.
