I was listening to this song since it was released. And it was an exeptional experience to finally listen to it while sitting at the edge of the cliff at Sagres, Portugal.

I'm Sagres born and raised. I cannot stop reaffirming how amazingly this song fits the place

There's something about this song, that makes me listen to it on repeat 24/7.

Started crying half way through. Straight raw emotion pulled right out of source and channeled through a beautiful being.

At first i was a little skeptical of his new approach. But after listening to the song for a second time, i cannot stop listening. This is SO good!

This is absolutely glorious. Underneath all that lush instrumentation it's still unmistakably a TMOE song. I love it so much.

I love this song. I love Sagres beer. I am grateful to have grown up with many wonderful Azorean, Portuguese, and Lusophone neighbors to teach me about tasty and wonderful things from their spot. I love this song. I love the tallest man on earth.

thanks everyone who made this song happen. Thank you to the person who uploaded it! thank you to the folks who made the guitar! thanks for the people who made the computer it eventually was digitized onto. Thank you Kristian!

Shades of Springsteen's "My Hometown" and Tom Petty, but a song with beautiful, heart-felt lyrics and a gentle percussion.  I find myself playing it over and over!

I saw him last night in Boston.  This song is a highlight but the whole show is magnificent.  Incredible band, great arrangements, gigantic energy.

Have loved this for a few years. Can't remember how I discovered it. It's beautiful though. Tom Petty meets Bob Dylan vocals. Perfect

i honestly think this is kristian's best song. such a beautiful melody, such passion, such poignant lyrics, such lush production, such a phenomenal vocal performance...that gorgeous bridge that culminates in him saying "it's just all this fucking doubt" with so much pain and longing. and this song, in my opinion, is just on a completely different level from the artists that people have been comparing it to - war on drugs, tom petty, bruce hornsby, bruce springsteen - i appreciate each of those artists, but none of them has a song quite like this.

Different and spectacular to put it simply.

Took me a second to get used to this new style, but i'm loving it now. Instant playlist song, and although the lyrics are a little more muffled than usual, they are still stellar, as usual (I admit I looked them up). I particularly like the "It's just all this fucking doubt" line. There's something kinda rare and awesome about a poetical, lyrical, genius swearing.

So The Tallest Man on Earth went from being the new Bob Dylan to being the new Bruce Springsteen. And I LOVE it.
