As a Raider fan (for over 40 years), Gruden's act is already getting old. He is trying to control the narrative to cover his "you know what" when the wheels fall off the bus here and the Raiders go in the tank under his watch. The hiring of Gruden, one of the most overrated coaches ever, was a mistake from the start. His track record of drafting and player development is atrocious. Now with all the B.S. coming out of his mouth, I'm thoroughly disgusted!

Mack was the face of the Raiders Franchise NOT Carr who been injured and lets be honest haven't looked the same since that 1 Good Year. It is not Khalil Mack JOB to take less for the Raiders, he lived up and surpassed expectations when they drafted him and when it was time to pay him the Raiders wanted him to do the team a favor and take Less than the open market value for a Premium Pass Rusher! This is a Move that will Hunt that Franchise for years to Come!

The classic analogy is how to fill a container with different sizes of rocks and then sand. You start with the biggest rocks, then add the smaller rocks and finally the sand. That's how most teams build their rosters, but apparently, not the Raiders.

When the opposing teams QB can sit back, comfortably and slice and dice your defense to shreds. It shows Khalil Mack's presence is gravely missed. Mack and Irving setting the edges all you need is a tiny piece of pressure up the middle. Either one or the other gets a sack, a hurried throw, an int, plus it'll give the secondary opportunities to make big plays.
